Dr. Ben Terrany is board certified in Gastroenterology and Liver disease. He currently serves as the chief of Gastroenterology and a member of the Medical Executive Committee at Monmouth Medical Center. He has long been involved in teaching of endoscopic procedures to other physicians and is active in training residents and medical students. He has given numerous lectures in many diverse Gastrointestinal diseases. As an advanced endoscopist Dr. Terrany has successfully performed endoscopic stomal and perforation closures without the need for major surgery. He performs esophageal ablative (Halo)and restrictive (Esophyx) procedures for the treatment of Reflux in addition to EMR, enteral stents, percutaneus jejunostomy tubes, spiral enteroscopy, Argon plasma coagulation, ERCP and cholangioscopy.
